This Colombian Single Origin is one for the ages. A brew with balance and patience that wont just have you surviving; whether at work or in the wild, Los Nevados will have you thriving. Hand harvested on small farms nestles away in the hills, these organic beans are roasted to perfection and go well with any brew method you have access too - We find that immersion methods on particular really bring out the full flavour. These beans earn their name from the Los Nevados National park in Colombia, a champion of coffee and an unforgettable place for an adventure. Check it out!
Origin: Hailing from the Andean region of Colombia, specifically the Tolima department, the Planadas Community Lot produces these exceptional beans. Combining smaller farmers into larger associations, the coffee here is able to be picked and processed with full organic certification without any compromise to the optimal conditions of small specialty coffee lots. Often smaller than 5 hectares in size, beans can be hand harvested, and after being rested it can then be fermented for 35 hours before being dried. It is this care and attention to detail that gives this producer, and in turn our unbelievable beans that something extra.
